I am delighted that the abstracts accepted for presentation at the ADR19 conference are being published in this special issue of the IJPDS. Over 350 delegates from 11 different countries are attending and participating in this prestigious three-day international conference. They represent over 100 organisations from Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Republic of Ireland, United Kingdom and United States of America. We have an exciting and dynamic programme focusing on ‘public data for public good’ with dedicated streams ranging from methodological and analytical advances to the ethical, legal and social implications of administrative data use. We anticipate that the presentations will be of great interest to the delegates and will strengthen collaborations and spark new ideas. We very much hope you will enjoy this special issue.
